JEDDAH: There is good news for all food lovers in Saudi Arabia.
Shawarmanji, a leading regional Shawarma chain from Lebanon is opening its first outlet in Saudi Arabia at Jeddah’s Jamea Plaza.
Yateeb Restaurants, a local food and beverage management company, is instrumental in bringing the brand to Saudi Arabia.
Shawarmanji uses the top-side premium meat, which contains less fat than in normal cuts.
All meat sandwiches at Shawarmanji contain 40 percent less fat than normal beef sandwiches.
Among the products on the menu are the signature BeefManji pomegranate, ChickenManji barbeque caramelized onion sandwiches, Ricemanji platters and the most creative low carb ShakerManji, a favorite innovation among patrons, the Shawarma in a cup for consumers.
“To satisfy your sweet tooth Shawarmanji also offers great dessert options such as chocolate halawa and ChocoManji with Oreo,” according to a press release.
Shawarmanji takes pride in serving dishes made from fresh and high quality ingredients at moderate prices, assembled in high quality designed-packages.
Yateeb Restaurants, the franchise owner in Saudi Arabia, has plans to open 50 branches over the next seven years.
“We are planning to establish several indoor outlets in prominent shopping malls. Outdoor outlets will be located within residential and commercial areas,” said Abdelaziz Elaugan, executive manager.

The CEO said that Shawarmanji also holds the distinction of being the first Shawarma franchise to operate at international airports.
Shawarmanji currently has two outlets at Dubai Airport and one at Abu Dhabi Airport.
