Online gaming has spread from its initial computer roots to console gaming, and finally to mobile gaming, with 46 percent of people in the Middle East opting to play games on their smartphones, according to a study by NEWZOO Gaming.
Honor, a smartphone e-brand under the Huawei Group, is launching the Honor Play, the first of a new product series, with the promise of delivering a revolutionary fast gaming and entertainment experience.
The top country based on gaming revenue is Saudi Arabia with $765 million. The UAE follows in the third place with a gaming revenue of $322 million. Honor Play is designed with the groundbreaking graphics processing technology GPU Turbo, touted as the “Gaming Monster.” The AI-enabled device has worked with many gaming partners such as PUBG MOBILE and Asphalt 9 for customized optimization.

The Honor Play will be available at SR1,199 ($320) for purchase at Jarir, Extra, Lulu and other markets in the Kingdom, and at 1,199 dirham ($326) at retail stores from Aug. 1 in the UAE.
