Saudi Health Council launches online hub for COVID-19 information

JEDDAH: The Saudi Health Council’s National Health Information Center has launched a specialized electronic platform to provide comprehensive interactive information about the coronavirus pandemic.

Corona Map is an interactive service that monitors the number of infections around the world. It also includes an artificial intelligence virtual assistant, BashairBot, that is available around the clock to answer questions, in Arabic and English, about the coronavirus disease COVID-19.

It provides instant updates on virus-related developments, including illustrated charts and graphs and latest news and educational content. It also shows the status of important events affected by the virus, and a patient guide to isolation centers and hospitals in the Kingdom.

DUBAI: Four more repatriation flights arrived in Saudi Arabia as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to bring back stranded citizens from coronavirus hotspots, state news agency SPA reported.
Flights from Washington and Houston arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh while another two landed in King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, bringing Saudi nationals from New York and Beirut.
All precautionary measures to contain the coronavirus spread were taken to ensure the safety of passengers, who would also be in isolation for 14 days.
