Lebanese designers to support today and every day

As the economic crisis in Lebanon worsens, it’s important to show solidarity with the local creative community during these harrowing times. Read on for six Lebanese designers to support today and every day. 

  • Ralph Masri

    The Central Saint Martin graduate’s fine jewelry pieces have been worn by everyone from Celine Dion and Megan Markle to Queen Rania and Gigi Hadid.

  • Sarah’s Bag

    The accessories label is helmed by creative director Sarah Beydoun, and is known for its quirky clutches and handbags. Each piece is made by underprivileged women in Lebanon, including prisoners and ex-prisoners.

  • Racil

    The London-based womenswear brand, founded by designer Racil Chalhoub, is known for its cult suits and tuxedos. 

  • Nadine Ghosn

    Of Brazilian and Lebanese descent, the designer launched her namesake jewelry label in 2016. It has since been picked up by renowned e-tailers, such as Farfetch and Moda Operandi.

  • LaLa Queen

    Founded by Lebanese accessories designer Sally Sarieddine, this handbag label has been championed by human rights lawyer Amal Clooney on plenty occasions.

  • Jeux de Mains

    The up-and-coming label founded by Beirut-born Salim Cherfane garnered attention in November after the brand’s multi-color suit was spotted on international superstar Beyonce.
