Artists to look out for at World Art Dubai 2021

World Art Dubai returned this week with award-winning, established and emerging artists who are showcasing their work until April 10 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. 

  1. Hend Rashid
    Hend Rashid
    Emirati artist Hend Rashid is exhibiting eight artworks at the event. Her creations are colorful and abstract and inspired by the famous Arabian Nights stories.
  2. Julia Smolenkova
    Julia Smolenkova
    Julia Smolenkova is an award-winning contemporary artist from Russia whose work merges the abstract and the real. She was one of the top sellers at last year’s show. 
  3. Kristal Bechara
    Kristal Bechara
    The award-winning Lebanese contemporary artist is best known for her dynamic patterns and expressive colors. For over a decade, the painter has been creating artworks that represents a sense of joy and freedom of the spirit.
  4. Yana Rusnak
    Yana Rusnak
    The Ukrainian contemporary artist’s paintings have been exhibited in Miami, New York, Cairo, Beirut, Moscow, Dubai, Riyadh, Kiev, London and Geneva. In her paintings, you will see a fusion of the figurative and the abstract.
  5. Sanuj Birla
    Sanuj Birla
    Sanuj Birla is an Indian painter and sculptor. His figurative pieces fuse pop-art, realism and surrealism.
  6. Petra Von Lutteroti
    Petra Von Lutteroti
    Much of the Dubai-based painter’s work is inspired by the landscapes of the Middle East. Her paintings feature the region’s gold-hued deserts and traditional clothing.
