The artists shortlisted for the Richard Mille Art Prize

The Louvre Abu Dhabi and Swiss watch brand Richard Mille announced on Wednesday the artists shortlisted for The Richard Mille Art Prize. The seven artists, including Italian-Lebanese visual artist and writer Cristiana de Marchi, will showcase their work in the inaugural “Louvre Abu Dhabi Art Here 2021” exhibition, running from Nov. 18-March 22.

Marchi’s work has been presented internationally Italy and she is currently a PhD candidate in the Artistic Research Programme at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna.

  • Taus Makhacheva

  • Mohammed Kazem

    The contemporary Emirati artist, originally a painter, experiments with video, sound art, photography, found objects and performance art. 

  • Nasser Al-Zayani

    The US-Bahraini artist presents a research-driven documentation of time and place through text and image.

  • Tarek Al-Ghoussein

    Tarek Al-Ghoussein is a visual artist. He has presented his work at international exhibitions in London, Washington, New York, Kuwait, Greece and more.
