6 times celebrities championed Arab designers this week 

Arab designers were in demand this week. Here are six celebrities who championed regional designers on the red carpet. 

  • Claudia Harrison 

    The actress wore a black one-shouldered dress with a thigh-high slit from Lebanese label Azzi & Osta to the premiere of season five of Netflix’s “The Crown” in London.

  • Carrie Underwood 

    The US singer wore a two-tone green and pink voluminous gown by Lebanese Italian designer Tony Ward to the 56th annual Country Music Association Awards.

  • Rita Ora

    The singer was named the Entertainer of the Year at Glamour Magazine’s Women Of The Year Awards, wearing a vintage boho dress by Lebanese designer Elie Saab.

  • Emily Blunt

    The actress also championed a dress by Saab. She stepped out in New York in a black dress with stitching details. She paired it with a black turtle-neck top underneath. 

  • Kimberly Schlapman

    The singer wore an Azzi & Osta gown to the CMA Awards. It was an off-the shoulder light pink gown from the label’s fall/ winter 2019 collection. 

  • Karen Fairchild

    The singer wore an orange fur-trimmed lace gown by luxury fashion house Alaia, which was founded by late Tunisian couturier Azzedine Alaia, to the CMA Awards.
