RIYADH: Saudi aid agency KSrelief has distributed tons of food aid to the most vulnerable in Afghanistan, Lebanon and the Philippines.
On Tuesday, KSrelief gave out 23 tons and 250 kg of food parcels to earthquake-affected families in Enjil district in Afghanistan’s Herat province, benefiting 375 families or 2,250 individuals.
In Lebanon, KSrelief distributed 875 cartons of dates in Tripoli to Syrian and Palestinian refugees, as well as vulnerable Lebanese families.
In the Philippines, KSrelief handed out 8,070 food parcels to families in Marawi City.
In cooperation with the World Health Organization, KSrelief inaugurated an oxygen-generating station at Tarim Hospital in Yemen’s Hadhramaut governorate. The station will produce 100 oxygen cylinders per day.
