The Red Sea International Film Festival this week unveiled the jury members taking part in the festival’s third edition, which will run from Nov. 30 to Dec. 9.

Baz Luhrmann
The Australian film director, famous for “Elvis” and “The Great Gatsby,” is the president of the jury for the main feature film competition.

Joel Kinnaman
Luhrmann will be joined by Swedish-American actor Joel Kinnaman. He first gained recognition for his roles in the 2010 Swedish film “Easy Money” and the “Johan Falk” crime series.

Freida Pinto
The jury members will be joined by Indian actress Freida Pinto, who rose to prominence with her film debut in the drama “Slumdog Millionaire,” for which she was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

Amina Khalil
The Egyptian actress, who studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City, is known for her roles in “Grand Hotel,” “Khalil Malak Min Zizi” and “El Harsha El-Sab’a.”

Paz Vega
The Spanish actress’s film credits include “Sex and Lucía” and “The OA.” She also played the role of Catalina Creel in the 2019 television series “Cuna de Lobos.”

The Red Sea: Shorts competition will be judged by leading Saudi writer, director and film critic Hana Al-Omair.
