Rami Al-Ali presents Spring/Summer 2024 collection in Paris

Syrian designer Rami Al-Ali showcased his Spring/Summer 2024 collection in Paris this week. Here are six key insights about his new set of creations.

    Al-Ali's latest collection, inspired by Bedouin heritage, featured 30 pieces that reflect his signature blend of classic and contemporary styles. The collection boasted structured sleeves, flowing trains and experimentative silhouettes.

    His designs encompass full-length dresses, mid-length designs, off-the-shoulder ensembles, tailored creations and one bridal masterpiece.  
  3. Fusion of fabrics

    The collection presents a fusion of various luxe fabrics, including sheer silks, organza, muslin, tulle, liquid satin, and gazar.

    The new designs embody the theme of weightlessness, accentuated by airy fabrics that allowed models to waft down the runway unburdened by weighty fabrics.  
  5. Color palette

    The collection’s color palette was inspired by the desert, which the designer sees as a sanctuary for Bedouin tribes. The collection unfolded in a rich tapestry of sandy beige, deep brown, suede, soft pink, maroon, copper orange and black to reflect the night sky.

    The addition of a handful of men’s looks showcased Al-Ali’s desire to reach a wider audience with his designs, which are all created in his atelier in Dubai.
