MADINAH : Madinah is preparing to welcome visitors to its 2026 dates season, which will begin on Monday and run until Aug. 2 at the Madinah Central Dates Market.
The season combines economic, cultural and heritage dimensions to offer a comprehensive experience that celebrates date culture and the quality of locally produced dates.
It emphasizes Madinah’s identity as a city closely associated with the date palm and provides a platform to highlight dates and date-based products, enhancing marketing opportunities and supporting producers and farmers.
The season features daily date auctions, dedicated areas for date palm products, and events showcasing traditional crafts made from palm fronds. These activities help expand the reach of Madinah’s dates in both domestic and international markets.
