A physically challenged young man from the south Indian state of Kerala has produced an animated greetings video to mark his country’s 65th Republic Day. Anjan Satish of Eram Group has won the applause of Siddeek Ahmed, CMD of the group, its senior executives and other staff members for his innovative work.

Satish is afflicted by severe hearing and speech impairments and vision problems and he is totally crippled, said Bijoy D. Das, a senior executive of the Alkhobar-based group. “But none of his disabilities have restricted this genius from capturing the world around him,” he said.

Satish works for Eram Animation Lab in Kochi as a pre-production junior artist, where he is exploring the opportunity to spread his creative talents. “We are dedicating this creative work to all those who are physically challenged, with a message…Nothing is impossible in this world and India can do wonders,” Das said.

Born in September 1987 in Ernakulam, Satish, who has cerebral palsy that impairs his speech, hearing and mobility functions considerably, has won the Rotary International Special Talent Award (2001) and Medal in Art at the National Abylimpics, Chennai (2005). He was the first artist to hold an exhibition inside the Kerala High Court.
