Moaz Nabeel Bu Aisha, an 18-year-old Saudi scholarship student, has obtained three US and Canadian patents.

Bu Aisha was given the patents for Robo Care, a machine that helps in the care of disabled patients, some of whom are completely paralyzed. Patients can control the machine and other surrounding electronic gadgets by using their tongue.

Having graduated from the Jubail Royal Commission School, Bu Aisha is now a member of the American Association of Inventors and has earned a prize for young scientists from Intel. He ranked fourth among world participants and earned Asia’s Cup for Scientific Projects. He also represented the Kingdom in 34 international and regional events in Robotics and was given an audience with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.

Bu Aisha is a student at Western Ontario University specializing in bio-mechanic electronics. He hopes to pursue his MSc in this field in Canada.
