LOS ANGELES: For those who have grown up on films like Conan The Destroyer (1984), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), True Lies (1994) and Eraser (1996), Arnold Schwarzenegger will always be the ultimate action hero.

In an interview to Hindustan Times, the Austrian-American actor said, “As soon as I get a good script and, a good and interesting director… I mean, I’ve worked all over the world already. I would not mind working in Bollywood.”

He rejected the perception that American movies pose a threat to Bollywood releases.

“They are both very different types of cinema. Both stand their own ground. We don’t aim to compete. We aim to please.”

He said it was a good sign that several Bollywood actors were trying to make a mark in Hollywood. “As long as they do a good job and succeed in impressing the audience, they can surely attract a fan following,” he said.

“My upcoming films Terminator: Genesis and The Expendables 3 are also much anticipated in India,” he said.

“I love going there. I’ve been there once, and if my producers and the PR team allow it, I would love to visit again,” he added.
