Al-AHASA: The largest cage in the world made from palm leaves was unveiled in Al-Ahasa on Saturday during the inauguration ceremony of the 2nd Reef Al-Ahasa festival which held at Al-Ahasa National Park.

The cage made in the form of a rectangular cuboid that measured 80 centimeters in length, 70 centimeters in width and 3 meters in height, and 120 date palm fronds were used in making it , it could accommodate 360 kg of date.

The palm leaves cage constructed and designed by the youth Hassan Al-Abbadi, and it took him ten days as two hours per day to complete it ,and costs SR 3,500
