Ambassador Ezzedin H. Tago said on Friday that an Embassy on Wheels (EOW) team rendered various consular services to 303 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Al-Khafji in the Eastern Province on Aug. 9-10.

“It was the first time that we sent an EOW team to Al-Khafji to render services to compatriots there. I thank the Filipino community leaders and other volunteers in the Eastern Province who assisted the consular team,” the Filipino envoy said.

He added that the consular team was able to encode 282 e-passport applications, processed 15 notarial papers and 3 passports extension.

He also said that the next mission through the EOW will be on Aug. 29-30 at the Al-Jazeera International School in Al-Rakah, Alkhobar.

The envoy added that all applicants for passport renewal are advised to schedule an appointment through the embassy's website www.philembassy-riyadh.org.

“The online appointment system allows passport applicants to choose the date and time of their preferred appointment and may proceed directly to the counter to accomplish the supporting documents for a passport,” he added.

He urged all OFWs in the Eastern Province to take advantage of availing the various consular services of EOW Wheels team whenever it visits the region.
