Mohammad Zainuddin Ansari, an Indian pilgrim, expressed his appreciation at the Kingdom’s efforts aimed at facilitating the Haj season as well as providing pilgrims with all means of comfort while performing Haj.

“A pilgrim could sense the amount of efforts the government provides from the moment of their arrival in Saudi Arabia. Pilgrims are welcomed at airports with traditional welcoming songs and gifts,” Ansari, who had just arrived at Madinah for the first time, said.

He praised the huge efforts of the Saudi government to welcome pilgrims and provide the best services to fortunate pilgrims who had been given this opportunity to perform such an essential Islamic ritual.

Coming form all around the world, pilgrims have began arriving in Madinah for this year’s Haj season.

Ansari expressed happiness of being in Madinah, the city where Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, lived. Preforming Haj and visiting Madinah has been one of Ansari’s dreams.

He said he was thrilled to have been given the chance to visit important Islamic sites in Madinah including praying at the Prophet's Mosque in addition to visiting the Quba Mosque, the Al-Qiblatayn Mosque, among others. Ansari mentioned that Madinah is full of important historic locations that go back to the Prophet’s time, around 1440 years ago.
