JEDDAH: A majority of Saudis are opposed to the holding of public concerts in the Kingdom, according to a local TV poll.
The poll, conducted by the Middle East Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) television channel, included more than 90,000 men and women.
Nearly 65 of those polled voted against the holding of concerts in the country of 31 million people while 22 per cent voted in favor.
The rest said they are not interested, according to MBC, which conducted the poll through its Twitter page.
