RIYADH: The undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for curriculum and educational programs, Mohammed Al-Harthy, said that a number of subjects and activities in the next year’s curriculum would be dedicated to martyrs’ stories.

With the support and direct supervision of Education Minister Ahmed Al-Issa, the curriculum and educational programs department has finished revising some of the textbooks at the secondary level.

Al-Harthy said the minister of education requested dedicating a special segment to operations Decisive Storm, Restoring Hope and North Thunder.

He pointed out that the relevant committees have already started working and preparing to include these topics in the school curricula in parallel with the great support by the government to families of the martyrs.

He expressed appreciation for the efforts undertaken by his colleagues at the ministry, each in their respective roles, besides their keenness to keep up to date with events, and continuously work on updating the curriculum.

Al-Harthy pointed out that the ministry seeks to expand the curriculum to include topics on the martyrs at all educational stages in the future.
