BAKU: The Saudi Embassy in Azerbaijan has said that the reason behind a Saudi girl leaving her family vacationing in Turkey for Georgia was a dispute in the family.
The girl and some of the members of her family are in Georgia and have been contacted and told to solve the issue amicably, the embassy said.
The Saudi Embassy in Turkey revealed Wednesday the details of the disappearance of the 17-year-old girl after she took all passports and mobile phones of the family and left for Georgia. The girl, according to the statement issued by the embassy, had gone to Trabzon with her family on vacation. After she ran away, the family informed the embassy, which then started the search.
