JEDDAH: The Red Sea Mall put on a display “The Wonders of the Sea,” an educational entertainment event that aims to raise social awareness about Saudi fisheries’ revenue.
The aim of this display is also to attract more visitors, especially families and children, to let them enjoy the wonders of the undersea world, as the mall has been transformed into a spacious aquarium which reverberates the sounds of the sea along with a collection of sea wonders.
Numerous replicas of species were distributed around the mall, enabling visitors to identify each of them from a close distance, along with sounds and lights that create an authentic sea wonder experience.
The exhibition will continue until Sept. 23.
Warda Khan, an 11-year-old visitor to the exhibition, said it is amazing. She said it’s wonderful to come to know about the wonders of the undersea world in the form of big statues as if they were real.
“With the sound effects and lights, it makes you feel like you are inside the sea world; it is very difficult to see them with the naked eye, with sharks and whales around you, but over here we not only experience their real shapes, but also get information about each and every animal, which was also a unique way to learn about sea animals,” she added.
Another visitor to the Sea Wonders exhibition, Mohammed Ahmed, also praised the efforts of the Red Sea Mall management and said Red Sea Mall always organize different projects and programs, which are always educational and help children in understanding.
“I love to bring my family to such programs while shopping, as the children have a wonderful opportunity of learn something. Now this sea animal exhibition is an excellent chance to let them receive first-hand information,” he said.
