RIYADH: The Ministry of Commerce and Investment (MCI) formed a summer club for the children of its employees to provide the proper environment that will prepare the children for practical experiences in their area of interests at an early age.

The program dubbed “NAMA” has been designed for boys between the ages of 7-9 years and girls from 7-10 years.

According to an official from the ministry, the program will give opportunities for the children to experience their favorite jobs and hobbies in many areas including health care, chemistry, theater, aesthetic talents, innovation, trade and computer programming.

He said that the program is being implemented within the ministry’s framework of its family welfare program which is geared at employees and their families for a better living throughout the year.

The ministry aims to strengthen internal communication activities among its employees, hold events that will go with the nature of various seasons. It also aims to build a culture of effective communication through sharing knowledge and cooperation and increase staff and their families interaction and create a distinctive and motivational work environment.

The official said the ministry also intends to develop and activate the role of internal communication which would strengthen the bonds of cooperation, create a motivating productive work environment, and work for the development of effective methods of communication.
