RIYADH: The governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), Dr. Ahmed bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid, said that TVTC colleges and institutes have been instructed to admit the children of martyrs unconditionally as a way to honor the sacrifices of their families.
“The instructions are clear: That all children of martyrs should be accepted without any conditions starting next semester. So we encourage all martyrs’ children to enroll without thinking that they cannot afford it, since their father is no longer around,” he said.
Al-Fuhaid said that all children of martyrs will be exempted from admission requirements as a way of accommodating children whose parents laid down their lives in defense of the Kingdom.
“This will be implemented in recognition of the martyrs’ sacrifices in the defense of the Kingdom on the basis of our social responsibility toward the nation and its citizens,” he said.
