JEDDAH: The Filipino Tenpin Bowlers of Jeddah (FTBJ) brought home two gold medals and one bronze to become the most successful team from Saudi Arabia that participated in the 19th GCC All-Filipino Bowling Tour at the Qatar Bowling Center in Doha.

Awarded gold medals were the FTBJ ladies trio of Jeanette Cerbito, Malou Gime and Marie Gumpal. Gime also won gold in ladies singles.

The men’s team event won a bronze medal.

The FIQ-style tournament was held during the Ramadan holidays featuring the top Filipino bowlers in the GCC countries.

Riyadh’s UFTBR won two silvers (ladies trio and ladies team event) and one bronze (ladies singles) and Filbowlers from the Eastern Province clinched the gold medals in men’s and ladies Masters.

Unified Filipino Bowlers of Dubai emerged overall champion in the annual event that included teams from Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and host Qatar.
