A Pakistani national was executed on Tuesday for smuggling drugs into the Kingdom. Latif Khan Noor Zada was arrested in Jeddah with a large amount of heroin, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
The man was referred to the General Court, which convicted him of drug smuggling on evidence furnished by the prosecutors and sentenced him to death, the Saudi Press Agency quoted the ministry statement as saying.
The execution was carried out in Makkah.
