JEDDAH: RJW Juf Wed Group of Migz Diaz defeated Manila Hotdog 93-67 to grab the first seat of the best-of 0-three championship series for the 40 & above division in the PEAK-JBL tournament.
RJW Juf Wed Group applied tough defense in the whole game to halt the inside game of Manila Hotdog. Manila Hotdog missed important shots plus committing crucial errors in the final quarter. Jameel Khobre top-scored with 33 points for RJW Jufalli Wed Group and was adjudged as the PEAK Sodas Sports best player of the game while Guinto scored 16 points for Manila Hotdog.

Desert Warriors inside game was unstoppable in the first half only for Khalidia Knights to fight back in the 3rd quarter to put their rivals at bay. Desert Warriors went to their patented outside snipping in the final quarter. Zamora and Hermogenes had 18 points apiece for Desert Warriors and were adjudged as the JBL best players of the game while Butt chipped in 25 points for the Khalidia Knights.
Thursday , Manila Zago of Loue Ghazi defeated IKEA 103-100 to clinch the first seat of the Group A championship. Manila Zago played good defense in the final quarter with IKEA enjoying a 10 points lead in the third quarter. Manila Zago slowly but surely hit its offensive stride to grab the driver seat as the final buzzer had sounded. Navarro led Manila Zago with 25 points and was adjudged as the PEAK Sodas Sports best player of the game while Garcia top-scored with 37 points for IKEA.
NRF of playing coach Gerry Acosta beat Magma Bloods 100-95. It was a come-from-behind win for NRF as Magma Bloods enjoyed leads of as much as 20 points in the third quarter. NRF attacked the defense of Magma and this put them in foul trouble. NRF main man Ali carried all the offensive load to slowly trim down the enemy lead, and back-to-back errors by Magma gave NRF a hard earned win for the championship opposite Manila Zago. Ali contributed big 60 points for NRF and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Adrian top-scored with 29 points for Magma Bloods.
