RIYADH: A total of 555 women employees of the Riyadh education department were honored for their outstanding services at a function attended by Princess Nora bint Mohammed Al-Saud, the wife of Riyadh governor, here on Monday
“It is our duty to understand and honor this group of people for their role in preparing a generation of creative and innovative students that will help in building the future of our country,” she said.
Princess Nora appreciated the efforts made by the Education Department in Riyadh.
The education department staff who were felicitated have won educational prizes and Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum award.
Haya Al-Awad, undersecretary at the Ministry of Education, welcomed and thanked Princess Nora for her support to educational activities. She also thanked the education department, represented by Mohammed Al-Morshed, his assistants and all the employees.
Al-Awad said that upgrading work performance requires encouragement, support and motivation for all employees as teaching is one of the highest and valued professions.
“The outstanding employees in this area deserve encouragement and recognition for providing encouraging, innovating and leadership educational environment for our sons and daughters,” she said.
