RIYADH, 8 November – Al Riyadh defeated Al Taie 3-2 in a keenly-contested match of the King’s Cup soccer league played at the Prince Faisal ibn Fahd stadium here yesterday.
Amat G. put Al Taie ahead in the 30th minute but Daian Faia put Al Riyadh on level terms minutes later. Both teams increased tempo in their bid to go ahead and in the 61st minute Fahd Al Sulaiman slotted in Al Taie’s second.
Daian once again brought Al Riyadh back in to the game with a 78 minute goal. Then Faisal Abdul Aziz notched Al Riyadh’s winner in the 90th minute of the game.
