ALKHOBAR, 16 November — In the 4th week of EPCA League sponsored by Khalifa Al-Gosaibi Group Rainbow beat S.R.Mix by 42 runs. Rainbow made 281 for 7 when they opted to bat first. Zulfiqar and Tariq scored fine half centuries. Naweed 31 runs, Saleem 33 and Imtiaz scored 31 runs. Javed bowled well and took 2 wickets for 58 runs. In reply, S.R.Mix were all out for 239 runs. Zia and Afridi scored half centuries on their way, Patel 26 runs and Kiani 25 runa were the other scorers. Nadeem and Nawaz bowled well and took 3 wickets each while Naweed shone well by claiming 2 wickets.

In another match, Youngsters beat SWCC by 134 runs. Youngsters batted first and scored 259 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Qayum and Mohsin scored fine half centuries, Wasim scored 30 runs and Zulfiqar contributed 27 runs. Shahid bowled well and took 3 wickets and Riaz took 2. In reply, SWCC were all out for 124 runs. Iqbal batted well and scored 32 runs. Shahnawaz bowled well and took 4 wickets.

In a very close fought match Kanoo beat archrival AGE by 8 runs. Kanoo batted first and scored 330 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Thanks to Iqbal Bali who scored a magnificent century 138 runs which included 9 hits to the fence. Abid scored fine half century and Ayub chipped in with 43 useful runs. Waqas bowled well and took 3 wickets. In reply, AGE scored 322 runs before they lost their last wicket. Waheed scored a fine century 115 runs and Imran contributed valuable 78 runs, Irfan scored useful 28 runs but it was not enough. Munawwar bowled well and took 3 wickets and Bali and Abid claimed 2 wickets each.

In another match, Al-Ghamdi crushed YATA by 8 wickets. YATA batted first and scored 239 runs. Shahzad scored fine 89 runs and Nadeem scored a fine half century. Rehan bowled very well and ripped through the top batting line claiming 5 wickets.

In reply, Ghamdi reached the target easily but in the process they lost 2 wickets. Iqbal Saeed scored a classic century, Khawar scored unbeaten 56 and Nasir scored breezy 42 runs and took his side to a grand victory.

In another match, Saudi Pan Gulf beat Pak Arab by 58 runs. SPG batted first and scored 353 runs. Talal Iqbal scored yet another fine century, Amjad but scored very useful 86 runs, Hamid jameel scored 56 and Syed Mahmood contributed 35 runs. Aftab bowled well and took 3 wickets. In reply Pak Arab scored 295 for the lost of 7 wickets. Kashif scored a magnificent century and Iqbal scored unbeaten 67 runs. Talal also bowled well and took 2 wickets. Imran Tigers beat DHL by 9 wickets. DHL batted first and scored 113 runs before they were all out. Sadaqat and Imran both scored 26 runs. Attar and Waseem took 2 wickets each. Imran Tigers reached the target in the 13th over. Thanks to Waseem who batted superbly and scored unbeated 64 runs and took his team to a great victory.

Deccan Blues down Khalifa Al-Gosaibi by 4 wickets. Khalifa Al-Gosaibi scored 228 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Captain Amin Saifullha scored yet another unbeaten century and Hidayat scored breezy 32 runs. Shakil and Yaseen took 2 wickets each. In reply, Deccan Blues reached the target in the last over and in the process they lost 6 wickets. Javed scored a fine half century, Mahboob 41 runs, Ehtisham 39 and Minhaj 25 runs were other main scorers. Parwez took 2 wicketes.

In another match, Saudi Valves Mfg. (SVM) beat Pakistani School by 12 runs. SVM batted first and scored 261 for the loss of 6 wickets. Muhammad Ayub scored a classic century and David Rajkumar scored a fine half century. Syed Amin scored breezy 39 runs. Osman took 2 wickets. In reply, Pakistani School manage to score 249 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Nadeem batted very well and scored 71 runs beside him Sajid and Nabeel scored useful 30 runs each. Young spinner Muhammad Faisal Khan bowled very well and took 3 wickets and Unni and David claimed two wickets each.

In another match, Hyderabad Blues beat Alhoda by 9 wickets. Alhoda 119 all out Sajjad Nawab scored fine 37 runs and Aslam contributed 25 runs. Suresh bowled well and took 4 wickets and Sajid claimed 3 wickets. Hyderabad Blues reached the target in the 18th Over. Javed and Prabhakar scored unbeaten 30 runs and Zameer scored fine 33 runs.
