JEDDAH, 27 November — Several hotels in the city have launched schemes to attract customers and tourists in the holy month of Ramadan, which has entered the second week.
The Red Sea Palace Hotel offers amusement programs and instant gifts at the fast breaking time. The programs have been made more attractive with a scheme to collect points, which entitle customers and guests’ discounts in the room charges and free meals.
"Payment of every SR100 will grant a point to the guests. When the points reach a particular number guests will be eligible for free lodging or free meals," said Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, general manager of the hotel.
The hotel offers a variety of delicious and exotic dishes of Arab, oriental and Western cuisine in addition to Ramadan dishes.
Amro El-Assy, director of sales & marketing adds the breakfast are now offered at a discounted rate of SR85 while sahour (predawn meal before the day’s fasting begins) SR65 only.
El-Assy said, Egypt Air is once again the main sponsor along with five other prestigious commercial companies actively sponsoring the popular events in the hotel. The Iftar is matched by a lucky draw with airline tickets to Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada sponsored by EgyptAir on a daily basis. Various other prizes and surprises are distributed by the sponsors while the hotel offers traditional Arabic delicacies during Iftar.
