JEDDAH, 12 April — The Global Distribution and the SkyFreight Forwarders bowling teams excelled to record separate impressive victories over their rivals in the 18th week of the All Filipino Tenpin Friday League organized by Filipino Tenpin Bowlers of Jeddah (FTBJ) at the Jeddah Bowling Center.

Jun Palacios and Rene Martinez led their side to an extraordinary victory of the Global Distribution team to humble the Green Farm in straight matches (5-0). Palacios and Martines exploded separate three-game series of 643 and 605 to power the Global’s astounding win over the Green Farm. Palacio rolled a game high of 235 and 226 in the remaining two games while Martinez had 225 in the final game. Dante Calapatia, Jun “game ka na ba” Pilipina and Ver Luz contributed a separate three-game series of 590, 585 and 552.

The Green Farm team keglers who suffered their worst loss to the hands of the Global Distribution collected overall total team output of 2689 pinfalls. Albert Sarte, Mao Orolfo and Val Magsino topscored with a series of 562, 549 and 530. Igna Salgado and Odjie Sagcal added a series of 495 and 487 in three sets, respectively.

The SkyFreight Forwarders team came back with vengeance to demolish the Abudawood Trading (4-1). Posting the best output in the Skyfreight team were the trios of Hero Garcia, Rene Santiago and the multi-titlist Cris Villavelez who toppled a separate three-game series of 656, 627 and 617. Garcia rolled 224, 228 and 204 while Santiago exploded a high-game of 257 in the second game. Villavelez had 231 in the second outing. The Skyfreight Forwarders garnered a towering overall total team output of 3002 points.

Topscoring in the Abudawood Trading team was Lindo Villanueva with 594 series in three matches, followed by Louie Bautista (575) and Eddie Alisbo (562). Emil Payongayong and Sebz Tristeza scored a series of 495 and 477 in three games. The Abudawood Trading submitted overall total team output of 2863 pinfalls.

The Internet@Kape continued their winning streak to record another convincing win against the Tetra Pak (4-1). At helm in the Internet@Kape was Roger Daquioag with 614 series. Goying Salazar and Mar Narvasa sparkled 587 and 584 series in three games. Atoy Cruz scored 529 and Mixi Lechuga toppled a series of 492 in three games.
