MAKKAH, 16 July — Dar Al Tawhid Inter.Continental Makkah, which opened a few months ago, is offering a family suite package as a summer attraction. Also on offer is its combined package that includes stays at this hotel and also at one of the three Inter.Continental hotels in Madinah with a choice of three prices, according to Resident Manager Adel Abo Kher. The hotel, which is the 10th addition to the Six Continents Hotels & Resorts portfolio — described as the biggest international hotel chain operating in the Kingdom, also has on hand a training program for the hotel’s 560 staff for further enhancing service standards. The 20-storied property, nearest to the Holy Mosque, has 614 guestrooms and suites that are exquisitely appointed with spectacular views of the Holy Mosque. Guest link color TVs, information systems, Internet access and state-of-the-art bedside control panels in rooms to adjust window curtains are among the facilities offered. The guestrooms include 152 VIP residential suites, which are self-contained and fully furnished. Their features include 1-4 bedrooms, separate living and dining rooms, complete kitchens and maids’ accommodations. Colorfully tiled mosaics surround the hotel’s spacious lobby, with decorative water fountains that have a relaxed and bright feel. Four distinctive food and beverage outlets — Al Rehab, Al Safa and Al Tayebat restaurants and Zam Zam tea lounge are all intricately decorated. A round-the-clock “in-room dining” facility is also provided. Key features of its complete meetings package include a team of professionally trained staff, adaptability to stage large or small meetings and availability of business center services and essential equipment.
