DAMMAM, 1 November — Al-Ahli thumped local challengers Al-Ittefaq 4-0 in the King Fahd Cup after leading 2-0 at the interval, writes Ali Masoud. Ahli, who had lost to Ittefaq in the Prince Faisal Cup two weeks ago, were helped by Talal Al-Misaal’s hat trick. Abdullah Al-Wakid netted the winners’ fourth goal.
In another match of the tournament played in Riyadh, Al-Riyadh defeated Al-Sho’ala 3-1 at the Prince Faisal ibn Fahd Stadium. Faisal Marzouk, Adel Bjaheet and Ahmad Al-Haji found the mark for Al-Riyadh while Kisinder netted for Sho’ala.
