RIYADH, 2 November — Al-Ittihad defeated Al-Shabab 1-0 in a match of the King Fahd Cup soccer tournament yesterday, writes Ali Masoud. Brazilian Sergio scored the all-important goal for Ittihad.
In another match of the tournament played in Dammam, Al-Qadsiyah defeated Al-Hilal 2-1.
Saleh Al-Shahrani and Yaser Al-Qahtani for Qadsiyah and Brazilian Somalia for Hilal were the goal scorers.
Al-Ta’ie got the better of Al-Raed 3-2 in a match of the tournament played in Buraidah.
