UNAIZA, 24 November 2002 — Al-Hilal defeated Al-Najma 2-1 in the King Fahd Cup soccer tournament on Friday. Ishak Kwakis scored the lone goal for Najma in the 26th minute. But it was Abdullah Al-Jamaan who scored the equalizer in the 61st minute. After that Mohamed Al-Shalhoub scored the winner in the 73rd minute.
Al-Hilal climbed to the second position with 13 points.
In another match of the tournament played in Alkharj, Al-Shoa’la defeated Al-Taie 3-1. Brazilian Claudio struck twice. First in the 17th minute and the second one in the 88th minute.
Nawaf Al-Daajani shared the tally in the 33rd minute. Al-Taie’s consolation goal was scored by Coasta. Shola have 10 points and are fourth.
