JEDDAH, 26 December 2002 — The National Commission for Wildlife Conservation has imposed a total ban on hunting in the wildlife sanctuaries of the Kingdom.
Saudi Arabia’s hunting season began on Dec. 1 and ends on Feb. 28 next year. Earlier, the Interior Ministry had issued an order banning all types of hunting in the Empty Quarter. (SPA)
