JEDDAH, 24 December 2002 — Presidency of Civil Aviation President Dr. Ali ibn Abdur Rahman Al-Khalaf and other PCA officials will hold talks with a visiting Indian civil aviation team here early next week.
The Indian delegation, led by Civil Aviation Ministry Secretary K. Roy Paul, which is visiting the city for two days from Sunday, includes A.V. Chaturvedi, director, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Air-India Commercial Director V.K. Verma, A-I Deputy General Manager (Planning) Jayram Karnad and other airline officials.
Aside from the discussion with the PCA, which is aimed at reviewing the entire gamut of bilateral civil aviation matters, Paul will also visit the Haj Terminal at the airport and inspect the arrangements being made for Haj pilgrims. A-I and Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) are transporting pilgrims from India for the upcoming annual pilgrimage. The terminal opens for pilgrims on Jan.4. — K.S. Ramkumar
