RIYADH, 27 December 2002 — KKIA Jets proved too strong for the undermanned Fesscor team and won the knock-out game 69-55 and gained the right to the top four teams to meet in the semifinal crossover game of the Filipino Basketball League (FBL) 3rd conference held at the eight contracting compound, exit 12 here. Fernandez scored 21 points, grab 8 rebounds and with Constantino backing him with 14 point output in the game, 2 assist, 1 steal and a shot block. Rollan and Abasolo have 10 points each in the game.

Fesscor fared well defensively in the outset of the game finishing 9?E10 in the first quarter, 1 point behind KKIA second holding on to the second quarter and stay 2 point behind KKIA. Ruiz led the team by a 17 point, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and a shot block. Fernandez backed him with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist. KKIA asserted some dominance offensively and out rebounded Fesscor to advance the lead to nine points 48-39 in the third quarter.

Coach Mac Narona sent in his big guys to dominate the board and the shaded area that eventually gave them 14 point, 69-55 victory over Fesscor.
