MANAMA, 4 January 2003 — Three Saudis detained by Bahraini authorities in connection with the rioting here on New Year Eve will be handed over to Saudi authorities, Asharq Al-Awsat reported today quoting a Bahraini source. Bahraini authorities will not take any legal action against them. The trial of the eight Bahrainis involved in the rampage will begin here today, according to the Bahraini Information Minister Nabil Yakub Al-Hamr, who had disclosed that three Saudis were among those arrested.
