RIYADH, 5 January 2003 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd has sent a cable of congratulations to Mwai Kibaki on his election as Kenya’s new president. The king expressed his good wishes to the president and people of Kenya. King Fahd reiterated the Kingdom’s keenness to further enhance relations with Kenya. King Fahd has sent a similar cable to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. In his cable, King Fahd lauded the strong relations between the two countries. (SPA)
