ABU DHABI, 8 January 2003 — Prince Abdul Aziz ibn Ahmad, president of the Saudi Ophthalmology Society and head of the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Bureau for Combating Blindness, arrived here on Monday to participate in the 54th conference of the GCC health officials, which began here yesterday. He was welcomed at the Abu Dhabi International Airport by Hamad Al-Mudfa, the UAE health minister. Prince Abdul Aziz is expected to hold talks with officials from other participant countries. (SPA)
