RIYADH, 24 January 2003 — The 17th Inter-Commercial Dart Team Tournament, dubbed as the Fila Dart Classics 2003 is set to start tentatively on Friday, Feb. 7, at the Cues Recreation Center. This prestigious event is organized by the Expat Darters of Saudi Arabia (EDSA), a prime association of dart enthusiasts based in Riyadh.
The tourney, first among the series of dart tournaments lined-up this year, is hosted by Cues Recreation Center in Batha Center with the full cooperation of Mohammed Al Subaei, the manager and under the sponsorship of SODAS Sports, the sole distributor of FILA shoes and sports wear in the Kingdom through the guidance of sports enthusiast Mumen Al-Garawi, the general manager.
An estimated 10 to 15 dart teams are expected to enlist in this tilt. Games will be played in 01 mode comprising 8 singles at 1 points each, 3 doubles at 2 points each and a team match at 3 points each for a total of 17 points.
