JEDDAH, 4 February 2003 — A number of pilgrims have been sent back for holding false Haj visas, according to Brig. Salim ibn Abdul Rahman Al-Barrak, commander of the Passport Department’s task force for Haj.
“We have detected a number of forgery cases, especially at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah. The pilgrims holding such forged visas were sent back home,” he told Al-Madinah.
Meanwhile, the Haj Ministry has started investigating three companies for offering domestic Haj service without a license and without allotted land for accommodation in Mina.

JEDDAH, 4 February 2003 — The Consulate General of Pakistan here will remain closed from Feb. 9 to 12 on account of Haj and Eid Al-Adha holidays. It will also remain closed on Feb. 5 on account of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
