RIYADH, 23 February 2003 — Dr. Rahim Yar Abbasi of Islamia University in Bhawalpur (Pakistan) will deliver a public lecture on “The Abbasid State in Bhawalpur” at the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies at the King Faisal Foundation tomorrow (Feb. 24) at 8.30 p.m. Dr. Abbasi, who holds a PhD in mass communications from Islamia University, is deputy registrar there.
