RIYADH, 11 March 2003 — The Shoura Council yesterday approved a law allowing naturalized Saudis to serve in the military. “The council endorsed the regulation which exempts those who have joined military service from the rules governing naturalized Saudis,” said Dr. Hamoud Al-Badr, secretary-general of the Shoura.
