RIYADH, 12 March 2003 — Saudi authorities have ordered the confiscation of T-shirts bearing portraits of Osama Bin Laden, press reports said yesterday.
The interior and commerce ministries instructed municipality and provincial officials to inspect local markets and confiscate the shirts, according to the Al-Jazirah daily.
The T-shirts were imported from Thailand. It was not immediately known who authorized their entry into the Kingdom.
