JEDDAH, 14 March 2003 — The Abha-based Arabic newspaper Al-Watan has appointed Jamal Khashoggi as its editor in chief. Khashoggi was deputy editor in chief of Arab News since 1998. Arab News Editor in Chief Khaled Al-Maeena wished him good luck in his new endeavor.
