RIYADH, 26 March 2003 — A new SR100 bill with special security features will be issued within a few weeks, Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency Governor Hamad Al-Sayari announced. The SAMA chief denied that the new notes were being issued as a measure against forgery, adding that all currencies around the world were prone to forgery. SAMA issued a new SR500 bill on Monday.
