JEDDAH, 6 April 2003 — Investment by women could drop significantly if the war in Iraq continues as women tend to be more risk-sensitive than men, Naelah Attar, a member of the Saudi Economic Committee, told Okaz newspaper. Businesswoman Hesah Abdulrahman told the daily that while the economy does not distinguish between men and women, the psychological impact was greater for women and could negatively affect their capital investment.
