SANTIAGO, 8 April 2003 — The Kingdom’s Shoura Council has won full membership of the International Parliamentary Union by a unanimous vote of IPU members in its 108th session yesterday in the Chilean capital. Shoura Council Chairman Dr. Saleh Al-Humaid expressed happiness over the achievement and thanked Saudi leaders for their support at all stages of accession.
